I have been thinking lately how you can make a birthday cake a little bit special with your Cricut Machine. Especially as the latest cake trend seems to be simple iced sponges. These of course are so simple to make at home, or indeed buy off the shelf. Yet a pretty cake topper can make all the difference and make a cake look more personalised and special. Thus my Free Diy Number Cake Topper SVG, PNG Templates are perfect to cut out on Cricut And Glowforge and make any cake look glorious.
Additionally as the number are available in 1-9 you can customise and make cakes for any age, I have also included a swirl shape to create a custom round happy birthday cake topper.

How To Cut These As Cake Toppers On A Cricut
When you are cutting these numbers or the happy birthday lettering for a cake, open in design space connect your images and weld them together.
Once welded duplicate your image and then mirror one of the images. This way you will have two identical images to connect back-to-back. Thus your chosen colour, metallic card etc will be visible from all angles.
How To Construct Your Cake Topper
Connect your paper cuts back-to-back with superglue using tweezers, ensuring you glue 1 or 2 straws or wooden dowels in between the layers.
If you use straws you can then add wooden dowel into your cake and place the straws over the tops to secure your cake topper.
Can I personalise These Cake Toppers?
Yes they are simple to personalise in Cricut Design Space by simple welding a name or images to the cut file, such as this space rocket.
