Hello And Welcome To My Chaos.

A little about me; my name is Sarah Christie and I write Extraordinary Chaos, a UK craft and lifestyle blog. I am based in a village not far from Manchester and have a passion for new adventures, travel, theatre, interiors, food and craft.

Family Life

I have a wonderful husband and two amazing, very active and sporty boys aged 21 and 16 who share my love of life and the new and exciting. Thus we love to share our likes, loves and adventures as life ever changes with a growing chaotic family. And also how Chris and I adapt to life as our boys grow up.

Being a mum is the best job in the world. And one I am so grateful for every day. But it has it’s challenges. Family life is normal not perfect and we should embrace that. Perfect is dull!

Our oldest son also suffers from type 1 diabetes; he was diagnosed at 10 which temporarily turned our lives upside down. But with a great deal of work we now mostly have this under control, although it tends to throw us a challenge every now and then.

Travelling Family

We love seeing the world together and are always looking for our next adventure. We share our family travel adventures, and as the boys are getting older there are also a few girls and romantic couple breaks.

I am a mad crafter and work alongside Cricut as a Uk Cricut Craft Blogger. A role I am crazy about,  I adore all things crafty and could lose hours in the Cricut Design Space designing new things to make.

Food Blogger

Here you can follow my latest family meals, cake, slimming world and cocktail recipes.

When I first got married I had no idea how to cook, my cooking skills are a product of years of practice with many cooking disasters. However my love of food and determination fuelled me to persevere and master cooking as a concept. I still make many mistakes, some recipes take a few attempts until I am happy and they make it onto these pages.

However this proves that if we have the desire anyone can cook and I am here to help you with that. With my “If I can cook them, any one can recipes” Being a good cook is just about having the ability to follow a recipe.

Interiors Blogger

I have always been passionate about interiors and we never seem to stop renovating our home. When we finish a home project we promise ourselves a rest, but that never happens, the itchy feet kick in a we find something new to change. Check out our latest home renovation and interiors posts for our never ending home projects.
