Paris Explorers Cricut Alphabet For Extraordinary Travellers

Share

When one of your close friends writes a book there really is only one thing to do? Design an alphabet, ok I am a little crazy like that, however this Paris Explorers Cricut Alphabet is designed to go with the Extraordinary Travellers adventure book. The book is adorable and aimed at children aged 9-11. Perfect for Paris themed crafts and the perfect Paris Scrapbooking Layout, or indeed classroom decor and themed activities.

What gave me the idea? I know a lot of teachers and scrapbookers use my alphabets for scrapbook layouts, decorating their classrooms and creating teacher resources for themed lessons. So how amazing is it to have an Alphabet that solely fits to Paris, and has a book to go with it.

If you want to see me create my projects, follow me on Tik Tok and Instagram.

I have also designed a set of colouring pages to work alongside the alphabet and book, check them out here.

Ideas For Teachers To Use This Paris Extraordinary Travellers Alphabet

This Extraordinary Travellers Paris themed alphabet is a creative alphabet, the letters are a mix of upper and lower case letters. This is great for activities involved around recognising that, thus being better for older children who can recognise and appreciate this.

The aim was to fit the theme of the book and create something that resonated and can be used to aid learning and reach out to those children who are not inspired by a book. But however, are inspired by creativity, I have found that linking the two together can create a bridge to learning that light that spark.

Activities such as cutting out the letters by hand, choosing words, making themed cards, playing cards and creating a Paris themed day with costumes and a treasure hunt are great ways to tie in literacy, creativity and numeracy and also integrate ILT with the use of pc’s or iPads. But also having the story as a reference point and place to search for clues.

Cutting The Alphabet For A Paris Scrapbooking Layout Or Project

When you’ve chosen the Paris PNG Alphabet letters to cut, send to your Cricut to cut. Ensure you use your brayer to roll the paper, vinyl or card to adhere to the mat and remove any bubbles or creases.

Also make sure you set your material and cut pressure correctly to match whatever material you’re cutting. If I’m using card, I always set my pressure to more for a cleaner cut.

When your Cricut has finished cutting, discard the outer area of the paper/ vinyl this pulls away easily.

Now lift a corner of your letter with tweezers, the letter will then lift away in one piece.Use the weeding tool to remove any areas that need gently weeding and removing.
