How To Make Your Own Nativity Alphabet For Christmas Crafts With Cricut?
As this is a Nativity project I searched for Nativity, Jesus, Shepherd,Kings, Angel and sheep to decorate my Cricut alphabet. I wanted the set to be perfect for all Christmas Nativity crafts and cards to celebrate the Holiday Season.
Soiree Lettering is a my favourite for creating, yes there is a huge choice of styles, however I prefer an open font for cuts and creating. It gives me more scope. Simple work alongside your images and go with what works for you. Although you must remember to ensure all images are connected if cutting as a paper cut.

Cutting Your Alphabet
When you send your Christmas alphabet letters to your Cricut to cut do ensure you use your brayer to roll the paper, vinyl or card to the matt. If the paper is not fully rolled to attach to the mat there may be movement which will affect the cut. Also if your cutting mat looses its stickiness this will also affect the cut.
Also ensure you set the material and cut pressure correctly to match whatever Cricut materials you’re cutting to get a clean cut. And if you’re using a Cricut Joy and want to use vinyl, use smart vinyl, it’s so much easier to use as its ready to go and you don’t need a mat.
Once the cut has finished, discard the outer area of the paper/ vinyl this pulls away easily.
Then lift a corner of each letter with a pair of tweezers, the letters will then lift away in one piece. Use the weeding tool to remove any areas that need gently weeding and removing.
