I made this Cricut Halloween Pumpkin Glass using removable vinyl with my Cricut Joy and smart vinyl, but you could cut yours out of black vinyl or stickers

How To A Make Cricut Halloween Pumpkin Glass With Orange Hot Chocolate.

You Will Need

What you need to make spooky pumpkin glasses

Firstly, Start By Making The Halloween Hot Chocolate Pumpkin Glass With Cricut Removable Vinyl

You can use permanent vinyl if you would rather your pumpkin face be permanent. However like to make mine recyclable, these cute little pumpkin glasses will be the Grinch next! 

In Cricut design space search pumpkin in the left hand image bar and choose a pumpkin with a face you like and select it. Don’t worry about the rest of the pumpkin you are going to remove that and just use the face for your glass. 

  1. Choose your pumpkin and select a circle from the right hand bar in Cricut Design Space.
  2. Size the circle over the pumpkin face, ensuring the circle sits inside of the perimeter. 
  3. Right click and select slice in the bottom right hand corner and move the debris and excess away and you’re left with a sliced pumpkin face for your Halloween glass.

Pumpkin Face Template To Use 

The face can be cut on any type of sticker or vinyl for a temporary effect on your Halloween Pumpkin Glass. Alternatively use permanent vinyl to keep your pumpkin glass forever. Here is the file link in design space.

How To Add The Pumpkin Face To Your Glass

When the vinyl is cut and weeded, peel it off and place on the glass free hand. I find with chunkier cuts this works so much better, rather that using transfer tape as I am able to smooth it over to remove creases easily. However for more intricate cuts transfer tape is always recommended.

Making The Pumpkin Top With Marshmallow

Use a mini marshmallows and your edible pen to put green dots to create a pumpkin stalk, do these before and put to one side with some extra mini marshmallows to sprinkle on.

Prepare The Hot Chocolate In The Halloween Pumpkin Glass

Keep this part simple, its all about the effect so use a ready mix hot chocolate. Options white hot chocolate tastes delicious and makes the perfect orange white chocolate with the addition of 1 teaspoon of orange food colouring

Add food colouring to white hot chocolate to make Orange hot chocoalte

First fill your Halloween pumpkin glass, but not quite to the top with 2/3 boiled water and two spoonfuls of white hot chocolate. Stir well and add the orange food colouring a drop at a time until you get the right colour and add frothy hot milk to make your hot chocolate creamy.

Now top up with squirty cream before with topping with your pumpkin stalk marshmallow and add an orange straw. Enjoy and wow your party guests with your handy work.

Recipe Variations

To add the the flavour use a little orange, salted caramel of pumpkin spice syrup.

  • Black removable smart vinyl
  • Edible green pen
  • Squirty cream
  • Paper Straws
  • White options hot chocolate powder

Tools

  • Scissors (If not using a Cricut)
