As Independence Day approaches I wanted to create a Stars and Stripes SVG, PNG Alphabet for crafting, scrapbooking and creating gifts and decorations to celebrate on the 4th July. This little alphabet and number set is perfect for creating custom made projects to give as gifts of decorate July the 4th celebrations and parties with. And just lends itself to sparkly and metallic cards in glorious shades of red and blue.

If You Want To Use This Free Cricut Stars and Stripes SVG Alphabet?
Click here or the image below to get your free downloadable SVG/png files and follow these instructions to add to Cricut Design Space. Don’t forget to turn off any pop up blockers.
However, make sure the pop-up blocker is turned off. Here’s how you upload the files to Cricut Design Space. If the files don’t arrive please check my trouble shooting page.
Uploading Your 4th July SVG, PNG Alphabet Letters And Numbers To Cricut Design Space.
Click on upload image and select browse.
Choose your Stars and Stripes Letter PNG or SVG files, SVG upload easier than PNGS which need a few extra steps, but in the grand scheme of things still take no time at all.
You will be brought to a window with options, select complex file, then continue. The next window allows you the take the back of your file, but I have done this for you.
When you reach the save screen click save as a cut file and continue. Do this one by one until you have all of your chosen letters and numbers. Once this is done, you can select all the letters you have uploaded and pull onto your mat in one go.
How To Make This Stars and Stripes USA Star
Start by uploading you chosen letters to Cricut Design Space, for this project I used USA. Once they are uploaded drag to size, position and right click and weld together.
Now create an offset for your letters, click offset and drag the distance button to get a size you are happy with and click apply.
For the star image, search star in Design Space images, the star I used is a layered star image no #MBC36DBE and remove the top blue layer.
Now set an offset for your star, mine was 0.361 inches, you need a bit of clearance for the letters to overlap the star.
Size your project and layer to ensure it is in proportion and send to cut.
I cut……
- The blue layers with card stock (cut on heavy card stock setting, pressure more)
- Red with Cricut red foil poster board (cut on poster board setting, pressure more)
- White with glitter sticker vinyl ( Cut on glitter vinyl setting )
Please do pop over to Instagram, and give me a follow and if you make a project please do tag me! I love seeing everyone else’s makes and chatting crafting. I could do that all day!
