You can then choose to save as a print and cut or cut file, before uploading to design space. Don’t worry if the image looks grainy, as soon as it’s in design space it will be fine.

Upload the top and bottom of your Mum monogram to design space and size to the correct size. Ensuring you hover one over the other to match up leaving a space in between.
Now add any text, name or message in the font of your choice and drag is to size. It’s important that the text is touching the top and bottom cut files, then when you weld your file together the files will connect.
To connect your file right click and select all and click weld in the bottom left hand corner. You will now have one solid cut file ready to cut and make a Mothers Day Gift.
Cutting Your Cricut Mothers Day Monogram
When you send your Mothers Day Split Monogram to your Cricut to cut, ensure you use your brayer to roll the paper, vinyl or card to adhere to the mat. Movement will affect your cut. If your cutting mat looses its stickiness this will affect the quality of cut. Also make sure your mat is in good condition, it is vital for cutting intricate cuts.
Additionally, make sure you set the material and cut pressure correctly to match whatever Cricut materials you’re cutting to get a clean cut. If you have any problems cutting check the mat, pressure and material settings as generally this is where the problem will lie.
If cutting on card stock the bigger the better, this is quite a complicated cut, I cut 11×11, however cutting on vinyl will be easier to weed, thus you can go smaller.
