What Is MOOSE, The Mountain Spirit?

It took me a while to work this out, as its not gin like I initially thought. In fact it tastes nothing like it! Yet it’s not a bourbon. Moose is a spirit that stands firmly in its own category and indeed its own league.

Being a neutral grain spirit which has been distilled with alpine herbs such as pine, mint, matcha, green tea, chilli and nettle and also sweetened with Canadian syrup. Moose has a refined flavour which is sweet but not artificial tasting, with an aftertaste of chilli that hits the back of the throat. It’s nothing short of spectacular! Thus lending itself to a whole wealth of cocktail and daiquiri recipe suggestions. What’s better than a cocktail with maple syrup?

Maple flavoured cocktail daiquiri recipe, if you like a sweet maple cocktail then this chilli and maple daiquiri is perfect for summer cocktails.
