250g plain flour
115g butter
3 tbs water
A pinch of salt.
How To Make Pastry
- Sift the plain flour into a bowl
- Dice the butter into small chunks add to the flour
- Rub the butter into the flour until you get a breadcrumb consistency
- Stir in the pinch of salt
- Now add the water and mix with a food blender to a firm dough consistency.
- Flour your surface and knead the dough
- Now wrap in cling film whist you prepare your pie
How To Freeze Dough?
- To freeze roll out and place on grease proof paper
- Now roll the paper ensuring you fold an inch edge over you first turn to prevent the pastry sticking together.
- Wrap with cling film or foil and freeze.
- Defrost thoroughly before using.
