Easy Slimming World Beef Curry Cooked In The Slow Cooker

Slow cooker recipes are my new favourite way to make an easy midweek meal. It’s not the preparation I struggle with it’s the cooking. You know the juggling the actual food in a pan with checking homework, changing the tumble dryer, putting washing away, feeding the dog. I could go on! But I know you get it because it is most probably your life too. But still we need/want to provide our families with tasty, nutritious food.

So sometimes the food in the pan gets neglected, sticks a bit and needs rescuing with a cup of water (I can’t actually believe I am admitting that). Because I am just to busy doing other stuff. I don’t want labour intensive meals midweek, I want easy, but still freshly cooked and definitely tasty. Hence why I adore one pot cooking, just throw it in, and leave it to do its magic. Beef is always better cooked in the slow cooker.

  1. I’ve never used a pressure cooker before. It sounds like it’s almost the opposite of a slow cooker (never used one of those either!) – cooking things in half the time rather than taking all day. Anything that makes the evening mealtime cooking less stressful is a good thing – I bet lots of people will be adding this to their Christmas list this year.

  2. I swear by my pressure cooker cooks stew in less than an hour just by throwing everything in. But I found that the sauce of this recipe had dried up, I did add more liquid and only used 400grm beef, so had to try to mix more hot water in, but did taste lovely and only added 1/2 masala as hubby doesn’t like it hot. Will make it again though. Thankyou x

    • Ooh thats odd as I have made it a few times, I wonder if its something to do with size or heat? I have also made this with lamb but in the slow cooker and it was amazing, I am so glad you like the flavour x
