St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated on 17th March and observes of the death of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. This holiday has evolved into a wonderful celebration of Irish culture and the life of Saint Patrick. Thus celebrating with amazing food, crafts, music, dancing and drinking. So it seems fitting that I create a Free St Patrick’s Day SVG Alphabet letters and numbers for Cricut And Glowforge , to use with card and vinyl and of course it had to be glittery green for creating St. Patrick’s Day themed projects and crafts. Also check out my other alphabets and my four leaf clover SVG.

St. Patrick is said to have been born in Roman Britain in the late 4th century, however was kidnapped at the age of 16 and taken to Ireland as a slave. He escaped but returned in around 432 to spread the word of Christianity. When he died on March 17, 461, he had formed many churches, schools and monasteries.

If you want to see me create my projects, follow me on Tik Tok and Instagram.

There are many wonderful legends that have been built around St. Patrick. These have become mingled with the facts and have formed the legends and celebrations of today.

Position the elements for your alphabet and make sure you re happy before continuing

Making Your Own Cricut St Patrick’s Day Alphabet Themed Alphabet?

Simply pull your chosen elements you want to use, position them ensuring they are touching or overlapping, then right click and weld the elements together, check out the video below to see how. It’s a long process and can take several days to create a full alphabet. However is also so rewarding once finished, once you get on a roll the alphabet just evolves.

Right click and select all and click weld in the bottom right hand corner to weld the image and form a letter

It’s important to consider what media your projects is intended for. Vinyl is better for smaller intricate cuts. If you want an alphabet to cut smaller, ensure the cut is not too complicated and fiddly. However on larger projects and vinyl you can add more detail.

Cutting Your St Patrick’s Day Alphabet

When you’ve chosen your Cricut St Patrick’s Day PNG Alphabet letters to cut, send to your Cricut. Ensure you use your brayer to roll the paper, vinyl or card to adhere to the mat and remove any bubbles or creases.

Also make sure you set your material and cut pressure to match whatever material you’re cutting. If I’m using card, I always set my pressure to more for a cleaner cut. I find Vinyl will cut much smaller that card.

When your Cricut has finished cutting, discard the outer area of the paper/ vinyl this pulls away easily.

Now lift a corner of your letter with tweezers, the letter will then lift away in onepiece.Use the weeding tool to remove any areas that need gently weeding and removing.

  1. I’ve looked and looked for direct link to Cricut ds for many of your alphabets but can’t seem to find them in members page. I have paid access. I think I have found three or four links. I love your designs.
