Free Cookie SVG, Letters And Numbers For Cricut And Glowforge

My latest Cricut Cookie SVG alphabet is inspired by US Girl Scout Cookie’s. I was recently reading all about the Girl Scout Cookie Season, you know when you just stumble across something and end up in a worm hole reading more and more. It’s fascinating and a huge deal in the US, I remember those movies as a child where I longed for such a thing in the UK, well this is my opportunity to play a tiny part in the 2022 Cookie Season.

But also for all of us in the UK, who doesn’t love cookies? I mean they literally pay our mortgage as that’s the business my hubby is in! So I think of my Cricut Cookie Alphabet as not only a nod to Girl Scout Cookie Sellers. Wishing them much love and luck for the challenges that the 2021 cookie season will bring. But also in recognition for all those die hard cookie eaters world wide! Because its times like this you need cookies.

• Cutting Mat
• Weeding Tool
• Brayer
• Tweezers
• Scraper
• Colour heavy paper, or light card stock.

How To Make Your Own Cookie Alphabet With My SVG And Cricut?

I searched for Cookie and Cookie Jar in Cricut Design Space. I wanted the set to be perfect for cookie lovers, themed parties and cookie sellers, crafts and home projects.

Decide on a font that is solid and will cut easily, but also good for stacking images onto.

Making Your Own Cricut Cookie SVG Themed Alphabet?

Simply pull your chosen elements you want to use, position them ensuring they are touching,, right click and weld the elements together. It’s a long process and can take a day or 2 to create a full alphabet. However is so rewarding once finished, once you get on a roll the alphabet just evolves.

It’s important to consider what media your projects is intended for. Vinyl is better for smaller intricate cuts. If you want an alphabet to cut smaller, ensure the cut is not too complicated and fiddly. However on larger projects and vinyl you can add more detail.

Cutting Your Cookie Alphabet

When you’ve chosen your Cricut Cookie PNG Alphabet letters to cut, send to your Cricut. Ensure you use your brayer to roll the paper, vinyl or card to adhere to the mat and remove any bubbles or creases.

Also make sure you set your material and cut pressure to match whatever material you’re cutting. If I’m using card, I always set my pressure to more for a cleaner cut.Additionally I find Vinyl will cut much smaller that card.

When your Cricut has finished cutting, discard the outer area of the paper/ vinyl this pulls away easily. 

Now lift a corner of your letter with tweezers, the letter will then lift away in onepiece.Use the weeding tool to remove any areas that need gently weeding and removing.
