If you have been around here for a while you will know I love Gnomes, I know in theory they aren’t a thing for every season. But why not? If we want a Halloween Gnome we can have one right? If it makes you smile then it’s allowed. So here is our Free Layered Wizard Halloween Gnome SVG.
Not only is he a super cute fella, but he’s perfect for diy Halloween decor and wizard themed parties.

- Cricut Maker,
- Weeding Tools
- Brayer
- Card Stock, red, gold glitter, white glitter, black glitter, purple (I wish I had used glitter for this layer too!)

Making Your Wizard Halloween Gnome SVG/PNG On Cricut
Upload your Wizard Halloween Gnome SVG files to Cricut Design Space, follow these instructions if you need help doing this. Firstly you will need to ensure all layers line up correctly, they should, however if they don’t, click on the padlock on the corner of the Gnome files to adjust.
Once you are happy, colour all the layers of your Halloween Gnome using the pictures on this page as a guide. The Colours I used are….
- 1. Purple for the top layer ( I wish I had used glitter)
- 2. Black glitter for the second layer.
- 3. White glitter for layer 3.
- 4. Gold glitter for layer 4
- 5. Red for back layer.
Cutting Your Wizard Halloween Gnome SVG On Cricut
When you send your Wizard Halloween Gnome SVG/PNG files to your Cricut to cut, ensure you use your brayer to roll the paper, vinyl or card to adhere to the mat. Note that movement will affect the cut. I use a green cutting mat and reverse weed as I feel projects cut better on the green mat.
How To Build Your Wizard Halloween Gnome SVG Layered File
Firstly start by making sure all the layers line up and every layer is the correct way round, then flip all of the layers over.
Next, turn the back red layer over so it’s facing the correct way. Now put glue dots to the back over the gold layer and attach to the top of the red. Next, repeat with the white layer and attach to the top of the gold layer. Repeat this with the black, then lastly the purple layer. Now finish off by adding Nuvo dots to the buckle of the wizards hat.
