The world has been moving home crazy recently, and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon. In fact have a few friends mid move which had me thinking about how I would make moving cards, gifts and tokens. Thus designed this cute Free Key SVG For Cricut And Glowforge.
I have cut mine today on my Glowforge, however it would also look gorgeous cut on your Cricut or Silhouette on glitter card and layered for a moving card or moving home scrapbooking layouts.

What Do I Need To Make My Key SVG?
- A Glowforge Printer
- Either a sheet of proof grade medium walnut plywood.

To Make Your New Home Key SVG With Glowforge
Load your material into your Glowforge, upload you SVG by clicking the + button and selection upload and once on the desktop drag to size the key file. You will be able to see your image and where it fits in the Glowforge on your desktop via the camera, you can now drag to size.
Next click material in the right hand corner, if you are using proof grade materials your Glowforge will identify this via the code on the right hand corner. However if it doesn’t you can input it manually. Next select cut to cut out your key.
If you want to engrave a message your key, simply select the tool image and type your words into the word pop up box. (If you don’t have the premium package you can upload any words you want to use as a PNG) However the text box just makes this so much easier.
Now position your words over you key, I did mine in 3 separate boxes and then lined them up. With small writing this is a bit of a faff, however zooming in makes it so much easier.
Now send too print, I love how quickly the Glowforge prints as you can see this project took 1 minute 40 and if you want to see the project in action my Instagram and Tik Tok links are at the bottom of the page.
Lastly remove the protective layer and either mount on a card or thread onto a pretty ribbon to hang.
