Today feels like a big moment as I am sharing my first winter SVG of the season. A Free Gingerbread Spice SVG layered file which oozes winter and Christmas. Yes I went for pretty pastels but this file would also look great layered in any colour and as a single layered file on hoodies in puff vinyl! Or of course a scrapbooking layout.
I know I am busy away with Autumn/Fall/Halloween Crafts, however I wanted to sneak a little Winter Craft in. For no other reason than I am feeling excited for the season ahead. I mean come on frosty cold morning, gingerbread spice late, Baileys coffee, pine needles and Christmas trees. I could go on but you get the picture.

What You Will Need For My Free Winter Gingerbread Spice SVG
- Cricut Maker,
- Weeding Tools
- Brayer
- Card Stock, rose gold glitter, white glitter, pastel pink, pastel peach.
- Glue, I use Cosmic Shimmer Acrylic Glue
- Tonic Studios Crystal Drops in Ripened Pumpkin, I also used white blizzard and navy blue for the eyes. But I think I need a bit of practice at eyes.
Making Your Gingerbread Spice SVG/PNG On Cricut
Upload your Gingerbread Spice SVG files to Cricut Design Space, follow these instructions if you need help doing this. Firstly you will need to ensure all layers line up correctly, they should, however if they don’t, click on the padlock on the corner of the layered files to adjust.
Once you are happy, colour all the layers of your Gingerbread Spice SVG using the pictures on this page as a guide. The Colours I used are….
- 1. Rose gold glitter card for the top layer
- 2. Pastel pink for the second layer.
- 3. White glitter for layer 3.
- 4. Peach for layer 4.
- 5. Burgundy red for the back layer.
Cutting Your Gingerbread Spice SVG On Cricut
When you send your Gingerbread Spice SVG/PNG files to your Cricut to cut, ensure you use your brayer to roll the paper, vinyl or card to adhere to the mat. Note that movement will affect the cut. Make sure you save the centre of the s and p.
How To Build Your Gingerbread Spice SVG File
Firstly start by making sure they all line up and every layer is the correct way round, then flip all of the layers over. Add glue to the back of the pastel pink layer, flip it over and attach it to the top of the burgundy layer. Next add glue to the back of the white layer and position this on top of the pink layer.
Repeat with the peach then rose gold layer. When you get to the rose gold layer you will need to glue the centre of the s and p separately as they are not attached.
Lastly layer the the gingerbread man and lady on top with sticky pads and add the eye details with Nuvo Drops or jewels.
