I recently posted my printable Disney Christmas Cracker Jokes but of course with Disney jokes, you also need Disney crackers. And this Free Cricut Mickey Mouse Christmas Cracker Template is perfect for Disney fans, and creating a Disney themed Christmas.
This year is the perfect year to create a home made Christmas, it gives me so much joy to create something from scratch rather than buying from a shop. Don’t get me wrong you can get some incredible crackers, however, do we ever really find the gifts useful? It’s much better to create a bespoke cracker and put thought into each and every gift.
If you want to see me create my projects, follow me on Tik Tok and Instagram.
Or indeed fill it with inexpensive treats such as candy canes and chocolate coins.

How To Make DIY Christmas Crackers With My Template
Cut Your Christmas Cracker Template
Start by uploading the template to Cricut Design Space. (If you don’t have a Cricut machine simply pull the template into Canva, change the colour and print off, or cut out 1 template and use as a guide on wrapping paper.)
Size the template to get the size you want your crackers to b. To get this Christmas cracker template on a mat twice, thus resulting in less wastage I made the length of these crackers 10.5 inches. However this is optional. But did also give me space to add the Mickey decorations around the edge.
I also chose 2 colours to enable me to coordinate the colours of the decoration cut outs.
Send your Christmas cracker templates to cut, ensuring you choose the correct setting for your chosen paper or card stock. I used the Cricut pearl paper in silver and gold which I found to be the perfect thickness and texture for this project.
Making Your Mickey Crackers
Once you’ve weeded your project, size the cardboard tube and cut off any excess. Place a small amount of glue on the tube and glue to the cracker template.
Next glue the cracker template to the inside of your tube with a small amount of glue to loosely secure it, but not on the snap part. Now roll the template around the tube, tuck in the tabs and glue into place.
Tie one end on the cracker with ribbon before filling the cracker with your gift and joke and tying the other end with ribbon.
Lastly decorate your cracker with the decals to finish off.
