The Tiger is the 3rd animal in the Chinese Zodiac, who sits behind the Rat and the Ox. The Tiger was not always part of the Chinese Zodiac, but took the place of the Lion. For more on the story behind the Tiger and how it became the king of all kings and the 3rd Animal in the Chinese zodiac check out the how the Tiger took over from the Lion.
