Free Back To School SVG Layered Apple

Ok so now we are at the end of the School year it’s time to think of back to school crafts. Thus today we are sharing the cutest file for that day of the year when we get to celebrate our kiddies getting another year older and wiser. No not birthdays, but a new school year. This Free Back To School SVG Layered Apple also has spaces to add years or grades to personalise for the oh so important back to school snap.

I used to love the first day back to school photos when the boys were little. Then as they got older became more and more reluctant about the precious back to school photo.

What You Will Need For My Free Back To School SVG

• Cricut Maker,
• Weeding Tools 
• Brayer
• Card Stock in 2 shades of r and 1 apple green and 1 cream.
• Sticky Pads

Making Your Back To School SVG/PNG Apple On Cricut

Upload your Apple SVG files to Cricut Design Space, follow these instructions if you need help doing this. Firstly you will need to ensure all layers line up correctly, they should, however if they don’t, click on the padlock on the corner of the apple files to adjust.

Once you are happy, colour all the layers of your apple using the pictures on this page as a guide. The colours I used are….

• 1. Red for the top layer, I used an embossed dotty card.
• 2. Apple green for the second layer.
• 3. Red for layer 3.
• 4. Cream for the back layer.

Cutting Your Apple Back To School SVG On Cricut

When you send your Back To School SVG/PNG files to your Cricut to cut, ensure you use your brayer to roll the paper, vinyl or card to adhere to the mat. Note that movement will affect the cut. 

How To Build Your Back To School SVG Layered Apple File

If you are going to add vinyl or card to your top layer to personalise your file then do this first.

Then start building your apple by making sure they all line up and every layer is the correct way round, then flip all of the layers over.

Next, turn the 3rd layer over (red) and put sticky pads in the back. Flip this and stick it to the back layer. Repeat this on the green layer, then red until all layers are stacked and lined up.
