When I posted my Elf countdown stickers last week, I noticed a lot of talk on social media and alternative views and ideas for Elf on the Shelf. This is a great recent Christmas tradition that many children worldwide adore. However, not all! Also, lots of families include travel themes in their Elves’ adventures. This gave me the idea of creating Elf on the Shelf travel stamps and a passport.

These stamps show the cheeky elf in locations all over the world, visiting top locations, it’s a great way to engage little ones in geography, but also dodge elf on the shelf should you wish.
How Can These Elf Travel Stamps Be Used?
There are several ways you can use your Elf passport and travel stamps.
- For children who are not fans of visiting elves, but you don’t want to ruin the magic for others! Let your Elf travel the world during December and send daily stamps and gifts through the post. This totally avoids having the Elf in your home and reassures your child they are in fact on the other side of the world.
- The Elf can arrive on arrival day with a packed passport from their summer toy finding adventures.
- Or indeed could have a friend Elf travelling the world who sends updates and stamps from their travels.

- Glossy sticker printer paper.
- Scissors or guillotine
- Small notebook or
- Passport cover, string and paper.

- 1 sheet of 18 travel stamps and 1 passport front sticker, on a PNG format with a clear back for pulling into Cricut Design Space or Silhouette to cut and print.
How To Make A Passport And Cut Out My Elf Stickers?
Simple use a small notebook and stick the passport front onto it.
Or buy an inexpensive passport, this one was £2.00 in Primark, cut paper to make pages and tie them with string. You can use a guillotine to cut each sticker out into squares, or free hand and cut around every sticker individually.
Cut Your Elf Stickers As A Print And Cut Project On Your Cricut Machine
- To do this click new project and upload in the left hand bar at the bottom.
- Click on upload image and select browse.
- Choose your PNG files.
- Select complex file, then continue.
- Now choose print and cut and save.
- Choose your image and press insert, the image pulls in quite large, simple drag smaller on choose the image size 6.553 by 9.237 this was the largest I managed to get mine to fill more page.
- Now you can send your project to print, before cutting on your Cricut.

A Few Tips For Using Cricut Print And Cut
- Calibrate your printer before using with you Cricut, this will save so much time.
- Load your paper the correct way into the printer. Obvious I know, but I have made that mistake many times.

Which Printer Is Compatible with Cricut Print And Cut?
I use the HP Envy 5020 which works perfectly. It prints sticker vinyl, glossy sticker paper and magnetic paper perfectly. However isn’t able to feed thick sticker paper through, although I find some sticker papers a little too thick and prefer the Amazon glossy sticker paper as its thiner like labels.
