Easy Slimming World Beef Curry Cooked In The Slow Cooker

However, this is also a meal I make for dinner parties, which has been requested by friends again and again as it is so delicious. If you want a creamier, more indulgent taste for entertaining, chuck in a can of coconut milk. OK, it’s not low fat then, but oh my, the calories are so worth it. Alternatively, you can use low-fat coconut milk to keep your curry healthy. If you dislike coconut milk fat-free, plain yoghurt is a great alternative to make your crock pot beef curry creamier.

What Beef Should You Buy For Slow Cooker Recipes?

It really doesn’t matter, and that’s what’s great in the slow cooker. I usually buy shin beef, which is the perfect stew meat. It’s super cheap and known for being tough. However, slow cooking is perfect for tougher meats such as shin beef because it is cooking away all day. Thus, it doesn’t disintegrate but cooks into a beautiful, tender-tasting beef, thus a delicious meal. It’s a great way to cut down on those shopping bills.

This looks delicious, and I only wish the internet could have a scratch n sniff function as I bet it smelt amazing. Any gadget that saves me time cooking during the week gets my vote x
Tracey its AMAZING I made corn beef hash and cooked it 15 minutes tonight! The Masala was so amazing, really authentic x
Ooh yum – this sounds amazing! We need to get a pressure cooker, especially now that our new induction hob’s in.
That looks and sounds delicious Sarah!! Also, I love how quick it is. Definitely need one of these in my life.
This looks delicious! I really must buy a pressure cooker, I’m fed up of spending ages cooking at the end of a busy day! x
Oh love a good pressure cooker need one desperately used my old one till it went out. Lol this sounds so tasty too!
I’ve never used a pressure cooker before. It sounds like it’s almost the opposite of a slow cooker (never used one of those either!) – cooking things in half the time rather than taking all day. Anything that makes the evening mealtime cooking less stressful is a good thing – I bet lots of people will be adding this to their Christmas list this year.
I’m bookmarking this Sarah – I’m using the pressure cooker literally every other day at the moment!! Irs so awesome for soups and casseroles! Am going to be making your curry next!! 🙂
That looks delicious, I’ll bookmark this one for future weekends x
I swear by my pressure cooker cooks stew in less than an hour just by throwing everything in. But I found that the sauce of this recipe had dried up, I did add more liquid and only used 400grm beef, so had to try to mix more hot water in, but did taste lovely and only added 1/2 masala as hubby doesn’t like it hot. Will make it again though. Thankyou x
Ooh thats odd as I have made it a few times, I wonder if its something to do with size or heat? I have also made this with lamb but in the slow cooker and it was amazing, I am so glad you like the flavour x
