Finding the Best Spot

I’m sure we can all agree that a huge part, if not the biggest part of a holiday is the location you pick. And for your October getaway this year, we have some great options in mind.

What’s better than whisking the kids away this half term to your very own holiday home at an incredible holiday park? You can choose from some of the most luxurious accommodations you could imagine, from spacious caravans to pristine lodges and cabins.

Immerse yourself in the UK countryside at your chosen holiday park, and you and the kids can wake up each morning to the golden autumn leaves rustling right outside your window.

Sounds good, right?

Spooky Arts and Crafts

If there’s one thing children love to do, it’s to get creative! So, this October half-term, we recommend you indulge in some amazing arts and crafts at your holiday home, to put some artistic spice into your spooky activities.

Pumpkin carving is a staple for a reason, so that’s always a good place to start. Help the little ones make the spookiest face possible for their pumpkin, or maybe let them choose their favourite fictional character and try and replicate this on their pumpkin. Who said pumpkins and superheroes don’t mix?

Exciting Nature Walks

One of the best parts of autumn is always the beauty of how nature changes. Therefore, you should consider taking advantage of that on your trip, and take the family out for some nature walks.

Make sure everyone’s wrapped up nice and warm (UK weather and all that) and venture out into the woods for some exploring. We’re sure the kids will love to see the radiant colours that autumn brings, and some of the incredible wildlife you can see right outside your holiday home.

And of course, if the situation calls for it, why not run around with the little ones and have a leaf fight?

Cosy Nights In

As the autumn weather draws closer, the need for warm and cosy nights in becomes more apparent – and your chosen holiday park can provide just that!

You could pick some of your favourite spooky movies with your family, wrap everyone up in their snuggly blankets, and have a thrilling movie night in your caravan or lodge.

Snacks are a must, obviously, and you can always bring some autumn-themed fairy lights to set the mood for your night in.

This is a great way to spend quality family time with your loved ones and help everyone relax and recharge for the day ahead.

Are you now even more excited about your trip? Good. Because by adding these few simple ideas to your break away, you can create an October half term holiday that you and your family will never forget.
