Last week I shared Joe’s dream tween itinerary, this week I am sharing Jacks  dream teen Disney itinerary. One thing I have learnt from this exercise is how different both of our boys are. Their itineraries and choices were just poles apart.
Joe likes more action, stunt shows and water rides whereas Jack? The faster and wilder the ride the better. When I think back to when Jack was younger he was not into fast rides at all, then one day the thrill seeker in him developed and now his mission is to ride all the wildest roller coasters.
I am fully aware that Joe will not want to ride some of the rides on Jacks list thankfully we will be able to access the Rider Switch Service so that Chris and I can enjoy the rides too. Thank goodness we have that option so none of us miss out. And Joe would much rather do this than ride some of the rides on Jacks list.
Here are Jacks top wish list of rides and restaurants in the parks.
For Magic Kingdom, he has a bit of a mountain theme going on and has chosen
- Splash Mountain
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
- Space Mountain
There is so much to choose from at Magic Kingdom, to do all we want to do I think we will visit a few times. Â They haven’t even touched on my wish list here although I am one step ahead and booked my favourites on FastPass. ( It’s a small world here we come)
Animal Kingdom
- Expedition Everest
- Kilimanjaro Safari
- Dinosaur
The safari is just ageless isn’t it? There is nothing more incredible than seeing animals in a realistic habitat. We have done this safari twice before and loved it both times. There is something so great about being close to nature, I will just have to close my eyes when we come to the crocodiles eeek.
Hollywood Studios
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
- The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
- Star Tours
Chris and Jack are riding the Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster alone whilst Joe and I ride the Great Movie Ride. I have never quite got over last time Jack dragged me on this ride so Joe and I have set our FastPass for a tamer ride.
Epcot
- Mission Space
- Soarin
- Test Track
He will also appreciate the World Showcase this time being a little older. In fact both of the boys are so travel obsessed they are going to just love tracking some of the wonders and replicas from their favourite countries. Last time we visited Joe was in a buggy, I am so excited to revisit with them.
For the Water Parks Jack has chosen
- Crush N Gusher at Typhoon Lagoon
- Downhill Double Dipper from Blizzard Beach
He is super excited about visiting the water parks this time; I do actually think we will bob in and out a few times.
Jack also has fireworks very high up on his list, Disney fireworks are just so spectacular and something you could never ever get bored with watching.
His restaurant choices were the Boat House at Downtown Disney and Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre. We have booked both of these amazing restaurants and just can’t wait; I know both the boys hope to ride one of the Amphicars too.
I can’t quite believe as this post goes live we will have started our journey and will be on our way. Next stop Disney.
Sarah have a fantastic holiday! I must admit I don’t know much about Disneyland – or I didn’t until just now – but it looks awesome and I am getting excited just reading this! I’m not mad on big scary rides but I know I will have to go on with Sam when he is older. It’s a Small World looks so magical. Have fun lovely! xx
Ah thanks Julia, I hope your week goes as well as it can my friend and I know that one day you and the kids will love it x
The tower of terror is my favourite…I still get so scared everytime even when I know what is going to happen. I love the safari at Animal Kingdom too, there is something so special about it. We always tried to get to the parks super early to do all the things we wanted to first but I guess with fast pass now you can really plan the things you want to do and know you will get to do them. Have a great time Sarah! xx
Thank you Hayley we are up early and off to Animal Kingdom I am so excited, we just chilled today but there is so much we want to do x
Aw just reading this post takes me back to our 3 visits. Though I have to say I came off the Dinosaur ride shaking. I am such a wuss when it comes to rides but the kids love them. Katie braved Tower of Terror at 7 and Morgan went on Summit Plummit at 9…… Crazy kids lol x
Tomorrow I will brave Dinosaur and let you know hoe I get on ha ha x
Have a fab time x
