The weather is looking brighter up here in the North of England which means it will soon be time to get out in the garden and enjoy and few refreshing frozen summer cocktails as I catch up on a little much needed sunshine. And this Delicious Raspberry Sorbet Fizz Cocktail Recipe is the perfect addition to my summer cocktail repertoire.
It’s one of those one is never enough cocktails. Because although it is sweet, the lime gives it enough of a kick, thus giving that moorish sweet/sour combination.
Raspberry Sorbet Fizz Float Cocktail?
Ingredients
- 100 ml Starlino Rosé
- 4 Starlino Maraschino Cherries ( I kid you not these are the BEST I have ever tasted, a bit like cherries from heaven)
- 1 tspn of cherry syrup
- 2 scoops of raspberry sorbet
- 200 ml soda water
- The juice of half a lemon
What Is Starlino Rosé?
I had to google it as I had no idea what Starlino Rosé was?
Made blend of natural fruits, herbs and spices, including Pink Grapefruit, Italian Strawberries, elderflower and coriander. Thus giving Starlino Rosé? a divine sweet flavour. Yet it’s lower in alcohol than spirits such as gin and vodka at 17% vol per 75cl bottle. Therefore perfect for afternoon summer cocktails.
This is a gorgeous drink that tastes amazing with soda and a slice of lemon, but also perfect for making cocktails with.
How To Make A Raspberry Sorbet Fizz?
First, to prepare the sorbet scoop a ball the size of a golf ball or slightly larger onto cling film. Roll into balls and store in the freezer until you are ready to make your cocktail. (This is great if you are entertaining and wish to make multiple cocktails quickly)
Secondly add the Starlino, lime juice and ice to a cocktail shaker and stake to cool the cocktail.
Prepare half the cherries by putting onto cocktail sticks.
Then add a cherry without a stick to the bottom of each glass, before putting your sorbet ball on top.
Drizzle the juice from the Maraschino Cherries jar lightly over the top of the sorbet.
Add the soda to your cocktail mix and stir before pouring over the sorbet to almost fill the cocktail glass, now give it a second or two and the sorbet will rise to the top of the glass.
Now gently pop the cocktail stick into the sorbet so the cherry sits on top.
If you are making for multiple people its a great idea to prapare your sobet and cherries before. To save time can also pre mix the cocktail, however do leave the soda water till the last minute to retain that fizz.

Please note I was gifted the Torino and cherries for this post, however all opinions and photos are my own.
