The challenge for me has been finding a Slimming World Red Cabbage recipe. Not because I religiously follow slimming world. More that I try to ensure I substitute recipes where I can to live a balanced lifestyle and still taste delicious.

As a result, this sweet, slimming world red cabbage recipe is deliciously sweet and tasty but is low syns. This is a game changer for me, as the recipe I have used for years has a LOT of butter in it. Now, don’t get me wrong, it tastes AMAZING. But it’s nice to have a low-fat, healthy alternative.

  • Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on high for 5 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • If you don’t want to cook in the slow cooker or do not have the time, place it in an oven-proof dish and cover it with foil; cooking this way is quicker. I would expect it to take 2 hours in the oven.
