Low Syn, Slimming World Meringue Recipe

21st September 2018 by SarahJChristie 10 Comments

However its also important to feel in control of your diet. This Slimming World Meringue recipe is such a great alternative to the sugar packed version.

Perfect for baking up before friends visit. They make a great dinner party dessert if served up with low fat strawberry mousse and strawberries as an healthier version of Eton Mess.

Meringues also work well with cocktails or fruity mocktails. They can be made and stored in a tin for up to a week. However in my experience can go a little soggy. For best results I would use within 24 hours of making.

A quick and easy recipe for Slimming World Meringue.

Please note, before you use your cooking bowl wipe it out with a tsp of lemon juice on a sheet of kitchen roll, to remove any residue or grease on the bowl that could cause the meringues to collapse.

And if you want any colours running through your meringues ( candy striped meringues are the prettiest) draw a thin line of food colouring up the inside of your piping bag before filling it with meringue mixture.
