What You Will Find Here
Some weekends are for chilling, getting together with friends and making cocktails, this weekend I discovered, an ever so simple Strawberries and Cream Cocktail, and it is delicious.
Wimbledon is over for another year, and I would like to say I am sad. But I can’t, it sort of passes me by. I want to love tennis, feel that Wimbledon high that the rest on the national feels. But I just don’t get it at all. Dot get me wrong I don’t dislike it in any shape or form? I just don’t get it at all.

I know I see you frowning and scratching your heads? Maybe because my parents are not tennis fans, or that I don’t watch the tv too much. Whatever the reason it all passed me by, apart from the odd blog post I have read that mentioned it, I sort of forgot it was happening until Saturday, and by then it was almost over.
Living in a football mad household, the TV, internet and general life has been taken over for the last, well forever I suppose. Maybe that is why it has escaped me. Against the European Cup, tennis just hasn’t stood a chance.
Anyhow, as I say I realised it was Wimbledon season when one of my besties turned up at my house with strawberries, cream, and meringues on Saturday. We had a girls evening planned and she had brought along a desert.
Well, you know how it is, a Hawaiian pizza and several glasses of wine later we were not bothered for a dessert. So we decided to put my new Nutri Bullet to the test and turn our dessert into a Strawberries and Cream Cocktail. I have to say this was most definitely one of our better ideas, it was delicious. Two strawberries and cream cocktails later we decided that cocktails were the way forward as a replacement dessert in such situations. The beauty is it takes minutes to make a delicious frozen cocktail, perfect when entertaining guests.
