Every week at slimming world people talk about Slimming World Jelly Sweets, now I have an admission to make; I don’t like haribo or jelly sweets.
When I tell people this they look at me at disgust, like I have two heads or something. I just don’t get what all the fuss is about, they are over sweet and sickly. I would much prefer a healthy sugar free snack. And yes there really is a thing such as low fat sweets.
How Many Syns Are There In Real Haribo?
25g of Haribo are 4.5 Syns, whereas these slimming world jelly sweets have only 1.5 Syns for a whole batch meaning you can eat them all if you want too.

Flavour Variations Slimming World Jelly Sweets
The orange jelly and yoghurt work really well together, as do the strawberry and raspberry. When the special edition Turkish delight is available this is one to try out and possibly my favourite flavour alongside raspberry jelly. Also for a little contrast in flavour try using the orange jelly with the vanilla and chocolate yoghurt for a chocolate orange sweet.
Finding great low carb sweets for children with t1 diabetes is hard.
The boys love Haribo, this is something that Jack will always have to give an extra insulin injection for and you would not believe the carbs in them, soooo high. I really am not keen on him eating them, but he’s a teenager I can’t deny him things he likes. However low fat snacks are the way forward. A this low carb Haribo Alternative is perfect.
And these slimming world Sweets are so easy to make.

Let me know how you get on x
Looks like a fab idea and will give them a go. Commenting for myself and on behalf of BritMums and thanking you for taking part
Thank you Kate and yes they are great, so worth giving a try
Were they not sticky at all? Planning on making them for the kid’s birthday but wouldn’t want a gang of little ones running around with sticky hands!
They are like Jelly consistency, easy to eat with hands but not to run around with as they may get a little sticky then. I would serve them in a bowl I think or try freezing them x
