I love it when a parcel arrives that makes your heart soar.
Especially when it is something that totally encapsulates my little family. This is exactly how I felt when my personalised Happy Feet artwork arrived from Bertie & Jack. You see, ever since the boys were born I have had this desire to get them out, travel and see places.
From being tiny they have flown long haul, adapted to routine changes and fit in with our wanderlust. The result of this is the many adventures and happy memories we have shared. Yes, we still have a huge wish list; I fear we may never get through it in an entire lifetime. But the fun is in keep plugging away, chipping at the ever-growing list.
But I not just talking worldwide, there are places in the UK we have never been. I can’t believe we have never managed to get to Cornwall or Devon. And we will be ticking Loch Lomond off very soon, I can’t wait.
Yet we still haven’t decide on next years adventures we are torn between a road trip with lots of adventures along the way. Or a cruise where we can make a new adventure every day, but have the night times to chill and have fun without all the traveling. Oh what to do? I just can’t decide. I am fully aware that time is ticking and I need to start thinking about booking flights and making plans.
And there lies the problem with a huge travel wish list
Where to go next, we can’t all agree, arghhh. Every time I bring up the subject we all have a different opinion. We go around in circles, including Cornwall, Northumberland, Scotland, St Lucia, a cruise. But then what cruise line, where to!
So today with a fogged brain full of ideas, but none actually standing out. I am sat with a coffee looking at my gorgeous artwork. What I love most, is that I was able to choose the size, frame, background and message. I chose The Travelling Christie’s, with the stamps of the world background, us down to a t, travellers, memory makers and adventurers.
