Atlantis The Palm is somewhere that has been on our wish list forever.

The fact that is has so much going on for families at Atlantis the Palm and that much-needed addition of luxury makes it the perfect choice for a chilled but action packed family holiday. In fact it is a resort in itself. During our trip to Dubai we got the chance to spend a day there, and wow, it did not disappoint.

When you walk into the lobby the grandeur of the resort hits you, the design is rich and colourful yet tasteful. And the atmosphere is buzzing. Atlantis is s a busy hotel with so much going on. And somewhere we will most definitely return as a family.

Start the day at the Lost Chambers which are breathtaking-Atlantis The Palm, Dubai With Teenagers

The style and theme is very much in keeping with the hotel. The floor to ceiling glass at the entrance captivated Chris and the boys; they spent ages watching the stingrays and sharks. Joe was begging to go for a shark swim, so this is definitely something for him and Chris for the future. I am not sure Jack would be as keen and was happier watching.

Once through security and in the water park the scale of the park hits you.

It is huge, so huge there are golf buggies running backwards and forwards between the huge selection of attractions. This is a much-needed in 45 degree heat.

Then make your way to the beach and spend some time chilling before heading for the lazy river-Atlantis The Palm, Dubai With Teenagers

The boys love a lazy river and went around several times before Jack had an incident and we had to get out. We never actually managed any of the slides and attractions but felt reasonable chilled after bobbing around on the lazy river. And they boys were happy, as they know this is somewhere we will revisit.

I was not a buffet fan before visiting Dubai. I always find them a little over facing but the quality of the food we ate was exceptional, and the fact that it was a buffet restaurant did not detract from the exceptional service. And oh my the desserts !

We loved our day at Atlantis, the buzz of the hotel; the variety of activities is vast. This is most definitely somewhere we will visit again. Probably for a week, there is so much to fit in. The great thing about Atlantis is you can stay on site or visit Atlantis Water park and the other attractions for a day. Something I would thoroughly recommend.

I never really fancied Dubai before, but reading all your posts Sarah I really think it is somewhere we would all love. The Atlantis looks amazing and I would love to stay there, though I am sure we had better get saving for a stay there. What a shame about poor Jack. Katie suffers with them too (really doesn’t help that I have a huge phobia about them). Glad you got to have a fab day in the end x

ooh loving the new look logo!!!

The Atlantis is one blooming special hotel. We spent a day there when Lili was a year and a half and like you, we were amazed at the size and luxury of the place. Its almost impossible to put it into words. Love these shots Sarah, you all look like you had an amazing time. Right off to google prices for half term!! Thank you for linking up to #MyCapturedMoment xx
