A couple of weeks ago I took delivery of the very exciting Tefal Cook4Me  Intelligent Multi Cooker.

It took me right back to when my Nan got her first microwave. I remember being sat in her kitchen listening to her chat to my Mum and Dad, saying I don’t trust it, but its all the rage. At the time hardly anyone had a microwave, they were so new to the market. I must have been about 7, and remember being amazed by this huge square cooking machine. I was so excited about Christmas dinner, as my Nan planned to cook the vegetables in the new fangled microwave to make life easier.

The Tefal Cook4Me is so quick and easy to use.

Don’t get me wrong the Cook4Me is NOTHING like a microwave. But it’s the fear factor of something new I remember. I will be honest, I put in on the side, and it looks great. But that’s all I did for a week, look at it and contemplate using it. It sounds silly to say but I felt a little intimidate by it.

I spent a couple of days watching YouTube videos of people whipping up easy meals. I decided to take the plunge, and have a go. The ridiculous thing is I set aside extra time, something you do.The Cook4Me cooks quick and easy recipes.

I made curry for my first recipe, the great thing about the Cook4Me recipies is that it gives you step-by-step instructions and a full recipe list in the cook4me recipe book. It makes shopping and cooking so easy, and so super quick. I made a curry, including preparation in 17 minutes, I had to put it on the keep warm setting to wait for the rice!

Next I tried Bolognese, again so very quick and easy. And as I was feeling a little braver I altered the recipe to include a home-made sauce with red wine. It tasted great. And is the perfect easy one pot meal.

Finally I felt brave enough to commit to photographing my efforts.

I choose a Pesto and Chicken Risotto Recipe For The Tefal Cook4Me

Something I had never made before. I followed the  healthy chicken recipe word for word and found it not only quick and easy, but also delicious. Now I am getting used to the cook for me I feel confident enough the mix the recipes up a bit. But that is the beauty of the Cook4Me, it is easy to use and also offers versatility you can usethe recipe as a guideline but also alter it slightly.

This is going to revolutionise midweek cooking for us. Life is always such a rush, but with the Cook4Me you don’t have to set aside as much time for cooking you can prepare easy meals for the week. I would love one of these but the hefty price tag is a bit of a shame 🙂

Lisa I thought that initially but based on the fact that I will use it at least 3 times a week I am thinking for me it is worth it x

This recipe looks AMAZING – however, the gadget (if I can call it that) is super pricey. I would love love love one of these. My concern is how much discipline I would need to use it regularly and justify the expense. How is it to clean?

Jason IO actually love it and have used it 3 times this week, i suppose it depends on priorities, time et as to whether one feels it worth it? For us it is as I know I will use it. As far as leaning goes it is easy, the pot lifts out and goes in the dishwasher

I love the sound of this, and I know my food enthusiast (complete kitchen messer-upper) would LOVE it too, might be a good Christmas present for Mr R! That recipe sounds delicious as well! 🙂

My wife has been hinting on getting a Cook4Me for a couple of weeks now but I’m still on the fence about it because of the hefty price tag! Is it really, really worth having around in the kitchen?

Bradley it is fantastic, I love it. I would say yes it is, especially if time is an issue which it certainly is in our house in the evening as it cooks so quickly yet the meat is still tender and moist x

I tried to make Risotto for the very first time the other week. Well all I can say is I need one of these in my life. I have read a few reviews and they do look amazing, and would be perfect for those midweek meals when time is always short. Just need to do some hinting to the husband x

Hi Sarah, thank you for posting the Chicken Risotto recipe. I have a Cook4me, but the Australian model, which doesn’t have this in the in built recipes. Can you please tell me how long it takes to pressure cook, after securing the lid. TIA.
