As Valentines Day is approaching and I am getting to grips with my xTool cutting machine. I thought it a great idea to share a few super easy valentines xTool M1(US readers Click here) projects that you can make in no time for the loved ones in your lives. Or if you are a maker who makes to sell, some great ideas for quick and easy xTool M1 projects.

The xTool M1 Isn’t Just A Wood Cutting Machine

I have shared a review of the xTool M1, however have been exploring a little more of what this handy hybrid machine can do. Thus I am here to tell you cutting wood is not even my favourite project! Its great don’t get men wrong, but this handy cutting machine is an absolute wiz and engraving.

But not only that, is incredible for print and cut. Now if you know me, you will know I design a LOT of printables and stickers and print and cut is my favourite type of crafting project!

The thing with the xTool M1 it its all in the settings and getting the cut pressure right. But once you do, print and cut projects are quick and easy to make.

Valentines Print And Cut Cards With The xTool M1

I love the print and cut feature on the XTool M1. Don’t worry I am going to create a step by step tutorial very soon. However, its all in the settings and super easy to do. This valentines card is from our printable gnome valentines alphabet and by simply layering on glitter cards it looks so cute and super effective.

I used white card stock and the brown card setting as a guide. However it wasn’t enough pressure, so changed the settings to pressure 262 and a speed of 80 which was prefect for white card stock.

Valentines, Scratch Off, Marry Me Cards

This is a wonderful valentines xTool print and cut project using scratch off decals, simply print off your card front template and place the scratch off heart over the top of the marry me message and hey presto you have the perfect card for marriage proposals. Get the scratch off decals here.

I Love You Key Chains

Create any message you want on these cute key chains, simply engrave using the dog tag settings. Add your text via the text tool in the left hand bar to create custom messages or simply say I love you.

Valentines Stickers For Card Making And Scrapbooking

If you are a planner lover, or scrapbooker then printable stickers are super easy to make as an romantic themed Valentines xTool M1 project, I had to play around with the settings to get the pressure right but found they cut perfectly with a pressure of 80 and speed of 80.

This gorgeous hanging wooden heart was made with my layered heart SVG. Its perfect for creating a hanging heart and also a heart jigsaw with engraved messages.

Also use the heart cut outs from the hanging heart to make a heart valentines card. This is super easy to do and such a great way to avoid waste.

I adore the results you get engraving cork coasters. This trivet is a wonderful way of making a gin coster, packed up with a bottle of gin or champagne and pretty glasses and chocolates it makes the perfect romantic valentines hamper.

Easy Valentines projects for the xTool M1

The xTool M1 is so much more than a laser cutting machine. It gives you the flexibility to create multiple projects many materials. For me the fact that you can switch between medias and types of materials is such a huge plus. Especially if you make to sell! Like anything, a new machine takes a while to get used to! However I am fast falling in love with some of the capabilities of this super versatile machine.

    I just love your site and am extremely grateful for all that you share with us crafters. I live in South Africa, and with the exchange rate, well things are just so expensive.
    I have been reading your review on the laser cutter, and wow, I would love, love, love to own one (maybe one day)…. Here they cost R51000.00 – so unaffordable for the average person, but we can dream…
