A Postcard From Universal Orlando

13th August 2015 by SarahJChristie 10 Comments

As I type this I am sat on an American Airlines flight to Turks and Caicos, woohhoooo. I must say it is a much nicer experience than the last flight we boarded, which I still haven’t got over fully.

Yesterday we spend a scorching hot day at Universal Orlando and had a fantastic time. We arrived bright and early armed with express passes, which are good for most of the rides with the exception of 1 or 2 Harry Potter rides.

Screen Shot 2015-08-12 at 19.37.07As soon as the park opened we headed straight to Hogsmeade and OMG I thought I was going to cry when I arrived. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Harry Potter so this for me was a huge thing. Chris kept laughing at me I was like a giddy child. It really is Harry Potter heaven.

Screen Shot 2015-08-12 at 19.37.36It feels like you have been transported into the world of Harry Potter, so magical and so very authentic right from the snow on the rooms at Hogsmeade to the hustle and bustle of Diagon Alley. If I am honest we looked around it all, did all the rides and loved every minute of it, the rides were just so incredible. But I need to go back to spend longer taking in the atmosphere, looking at every little detail.

In all we had such a great day, we all just loved Universal,  I have so much more to share about our day but I just couldn’t wait to show these two HarryPotter Pictures.

We don’t do Universal that often but we went on last years visit because we really wanted to see the new Harry Potter area plus the Hogwarts Express.

It’s really cool isn’t it? Universal have been making a lot of effort on their parks the last few years, and it really shows. We’ll probably be making more of an effort on future visits to fit Universal in more frequently now as we enjoyed it so much. Certainly more often than 10 years which was the last time we went, hehe.

By the way, not sure if the upload failed, but you mentioned two photos but I only see one. Just figured I’d mention it in case you didn’t realise 🙂

Oh My Goodness!!! I’m literally drooling at all your holiday posts Sarah, I’m so desperate to take the girls to Florida so that they can experience all of this. We’ve only seen the first Harry Potter film so far (Lili’s only 5) but she did love it. xxx
