Free Spring Floral London Taxi Cut File SVG, PNG

Spring is in the air and there is a lot of promise that we can start to gradually get our lives back and slowly start to travel again. One place I have missed visiting so much is London, you can never get bored. There is so much to see and do. As spring is approaching with a new hope, I thought a spring floral London Taxi Cab SVG/ PNG cut file was in order.

How To Upload Your London Taxi Cab PNG File To Cricut Design Space 

I am using an image of my festival cut file, but the principe is the same. Firstly click upload at the bottom of the left hand bar and find your London Taxi PNG. You now have the option to remove the background, however I have done this for you.

The first option you will see is the image below, choose moderately. You will then be taken to the select top page, this is where you can remove any background.

You can then choose to save as a print and cut or cut file, before uploading your London Cab to design space. Don’t worry if the image looks grainy, as soon as it’s in design space it will be fine. (Alternatively you can upload the SVG which is a vector image)

Cutting Your London Taxi Cut File

When you send your London Taxi Cut File SVG/PNG to your Cricut to cut, ensure you use your brayer to roll the paper, vinyl or card to adhere to the mat. Movement will affect the cut. 

If your cutting mat looses its stickiness this will affect the quality of cut. Also make sure your mat is in good condition, this is vital for cutting intricate cuts such as floral paper cuts.

Additionally, make sure you set the material and cut pressure correctly to match whatever Cricut materials you’re cutting to get a clean cut. If you have any problems cutting check the mat, pressure and material settings as generally this is where the problem will lie.

If cutting on card stock the bigger the better, this is quite a complicated cut, I cut 11×11, however cutting on vinyl will be easier to weed, thus you can go smaller. 

How To Clean Your Cutting Mats

I use soapy water in a spray bottle, start by spraying the mat and leaving for 30 seconds, then lightly scrape with a scraper to remove debris.

Now leave to air dry before re using. Try one old mat first to see if it works for you, but I am having great results and have cleaned one mat several times, whereas I used to replace them.
