How To Make A Quick And Easy Gin Hot Toddy

9th November 2020 by SarahJChristie Leave a Comment

I shared this easy gin hot toddy recipe over on instagram last week and it was a real hit, sometimes its the simple things that are the best and this easy hot gin drink is a real winner. Is it just me that also has a winter cocktail repertoire? There’s nothing better than a hot cocktail after a long cold winters walk.

Winter is about wrapping up, long walks and delicious hot drinks in from of the fire, and this Red Door, Winter Gin really does summon up all the flavours of winter. Now this is a gin that tastes amazing served with tonic, however serve it hot in a glass mug with winter spices and it takes something quite amazing to a whole new level.

Simple add all of the ingredients into a cup or if making in bulk in a pan and allow the fruit and spice flavours to infuse.

If you’re making in bulk its a great idea to make in the slow cooker, simply increase the amount of spices and fruit to the same ratio of gin and sugar.

Serve with a straw and garnish with a slice of orange and cinnamon stick and cheers!
