Growing Chives In The Garden

If you are a lover of growing fresh. Chives are a great addition to any recipe. They have a mild onion taste and also provide beautiful purple flowers.

Chives are easy to grow in pots and borders. But the wonderful thing is that you can eat the chive blossoms and also the leaves. When using for a recipe such as ham and egg cups I would cut the leaves in advance and soak in water for a while, before rinsing with cold water.
