My Weekly Round Up And Sunrises

Share

And we are one more step nearer to the big day, it’s crazy how it’s crept up on us? One minute I was organised and had a long time to go to do the rest, and the next I was behind how did that happen? It will get done I am not stressing.

But how gorgeous is this weather? It’s much better when it’s cold, crisp and bright. Although the weather forecast is looking a little scary. Yes, it bodes well for a white Christmas, but 8 inches this weekend is something I could do without.

If you want to see me create my projects, follow me on Tik Tok and Instagram.

So, here is what I have loved this week….

Sunrises

With all this gorgeous weather has come spectacular sunrises and sunsets. It’s been dark as we have set off for the school bus in the mornings, which has its down side but also means we get to see the day unfold. The colours have been stunning. These photos have been cropped but not I have not touched the colour at all. How amazing is nature?

Working In A Cafe

I took the chance to work in the cafe at the Bowland Food Hall this week. Its such an amazing environment. I spent a couple of hours editing photos, sipping gingerbread latté and people watching. It’s wonderful working somewhere different occasionally especially at this time of year. I love working from home but its great to be in a busy environment from time to time.

And if you live local and haven’t been check it out its the most incredible farm shop, selling some wonderful unique products, I just adore shopping there.

Home Made Mulled Gin

I made a festive mulled gin and its delicious, I love all the flavours of winter and mulled gin and wine are up there as my favourites. I even buy mulled wine candles. This time of year is so magical isn’t it?

Watching Doctor Dolittle At The Lowry

Doctor Dolittle was incredible, its was a bit like going back in time in a wonderful modern way if that makes sense. The set was stunning, so colourful and engaging. And although it’s a show that is suitable for families you certainly don’t need to take kids along to see it.

Next Week

This weekend will be spent writing Christmas cards and making sure I have all the last minute gifts. When it gets to Friday I want to be able to sit back and enjoy the season. And if the snow stays away we have plans to catch up with friends over the weekend so fingers crossed it stays away.

  2. I’d love the chance to work somewhere else other than home. We have a lovely farm with shop and cafe too, but I cant’ go out alone so I’d never actually get any work done. I love the colours of the sky at this time of the year, nature is indeed wonderful. Today it’s cold and drizzly but we haven’t had any snow.
Have a lovely weekend and thanks for linking up to Word of the Week. x

  4. Ok. Where have I been? I have never heard of mulled gin! I have got to give that one a go. Love the idea of working in a café. It does get a bit quiet at home. Especially at this time of year. The sunrises have been fabulous. I’ve made sure the kitchen curtains are open at breakfast, so we can enjoy the show. Beautiful colours. (Thanks for the night time cream recommendation. It is loooovely.) #wotw
