My Weekly Round Up And Sunshine

This week has had some lovely moments but also some frustrating and worrying ones too.

Not my stories to tell, but a lot of people I love have been in a lot of pain this week in one-way or another. Some day’s life does just not seem fair at all. I fact some times its goddamn evil! I nearly never wrote this post today it feels wrong being happy some days. But that doesn’t help anyone does it?

Moving on to my weekly round up!

Of course living in the North meant the good weather did not last long and by Wednesday I was walking Toby in a heated jack and woolly hat! I have a fab competition to win a Flexwarm Jacket  on the blog. Honestly it’s a genius invention and perfect for inconsistent weather conditions.

Dirty Dancing, one of my old faves in fact my all time favourite film, and the show is amazing too, in case you haven’t seen it? Sometimes watching an old fave is like a comfort blanket isn’t it? You know what is going to happen, it makes you smile and is comforting.

Claire and Lisa enjoying their back to the 80s cruise over on Cruising With Kids. It really has made me so excited for our cruise. It truly is my favourite kind of holiday, cruising is such a wonderful way to see new places. Check out their daily post cards its been fab following them,

Last weekend we had a fab time, enjoying the glorious sunshine with friends, eating and drinking far too much but so much laughter. I can’t believe how much better the sun makes everybody feel it makes such a huge difference.

It was also great to get the BBQ out and enjoy some family time in the garden, I love those days when we all just chill together, chat and eat food.

Family time in the sun

My weekly round up, sunshine

We are so lucky to have the friends we do around us, its been tough lately with all the school agro but knowing you have people who have your back and are there to make you laugh and make light of the whole school mess means the world. But our dramas are nothing compared to others.

Lots of cruise plans, this time next week we will be sailing out of Southampton with our CruiseCo, Bravo  performing arts cruise. Woohooo, this week I have started all the preparation and packing I might have done a bit of extra shopping too.

A sun dress from Marks and Spencer’s kept popping up online in my feeds and it totally got into my head, so yesterday in nipped in to town to get it. There were only a couple left and I was lucky enough to get one in my size. Although it didn’t look great on the hanger I tried it on and loved it, it would have been so rude not to buy it!  But I have to say; it’s not often I shop for clothes in Marks but could have bought loads yesterday it seems so much trendier than it used to be.

I am just hoping the weather is kind to us and we get lots of hot sunny days on deck. I am hoping to get good use of my gorgeous new Fantasie tankini. Yes, I rave about them but I have honestly never worn swimwear or underwear that fits so well and is so pretty.

Fantasie Swimwear fit so well, My weekly round up.

Next Week

I am off to Manchester with one of my lovely friends for dinner and to see Blood Brothers at the Palace Theatre Manchester. I loosely know the story so am feeling a little nervous about this one as I know it’s a tear jerker, but also has amazing reviews.

Blood Brothers UK Tour

Then it will be lots of preparation before cruise day woohooo.

Have a lovely week whatever you are up to.
