My Weekly Round Up And Little Loves And Family Time

This week has flown but dragged, I have had so many wonderful happy moments but also downright frustrating times. We are so lucky we are a happy family. Our boys have us fighting their corner and too ensure they get a fair deal. And we are healthy. I think sometimes its important to hold on to this and not focus on outside influences that are outside of our control.

Yesterday we had wonderful blue skies and sunshine. Oh my it felt just amazing to feel that warmth and hear the birds singing. And talking of singing, Chris celebrated his birthday this week; we celebrated at the weekend with our good friends and with a birthday dinner on Tuesday night.

Joe totally relaxing properly for the first time in ages, you don’t realise the toll a situation is having on a child until you see them breathe a sigh of relief. And a trip to Center Parks was just what we needed last weekend. A mid winter break is just perfect to brush away the January Blues. I can’t wait to share a little more about our trip because we had the most wonderful time. So much so that we booked for the same weekend next year as soon as we got home and it was a bargain.

Having that time to chill out, go for long walks and spend time with friends is priceless, without all of the added pressures of home. Such as housework and constantly doing washing. As much as it’s all part of life stepping off the wheel every now and again is wonderful.

I am still reading “How To Be Happy but am holding my breath as I read as I know the inevitable will happen, but it is the loveliest story. I also shared my favourite reads of 2017 if you fancy a peek at some of the books that I loved from last year.

I am totally failing on this front and really need to do better; I must try harder in February. But I did get my yoga gear on this week and make a yoga lesson. My teacher Kit is blooming wonderful I love her classes, it really helps you calm yourself and focus. Everybody should try yoga; I can’t describe how great I feel after a lesson.

I have been mega busy with my Cricut this week working on a few little projects. One is a gift for a friend, which I am super thrilled with and the other was an entry to the Simpson Holiday Ambassadorship, I have loved having a play and seeing some of the things my machine can do. I fall in love with it more every time I use it. I am not 100% happy with the lighting of the little video, but the days are getting brighter thank goodness.

Next Week?

I have an exciting week ahead with a little trip and cooking master class with the lovely Collette and some other amazing bloggers. And a very exciting hen party in a spa, followed by a meal. Then a chilled out Sunday with a delicious roast dinner.

Have a wonderful weekend whatever you are up to

So nice to relax with friends and leave the routine behind. I love that you are focusing on the positive. I shall have to look at your list of books. I seem to be reading lots of non-fiction at the moment. I’ve never tried yoga, but my eldest daughter uses it to relax, so maybe I should join her. Hope you have a lovely week. #wotw

We were looking at booking a break to Center Parcs, we haven’t been for so long but not sure we can make the budget stretch that far, pleased you had a good time. I think a CP break should be available on the NHS it’s such a great ‘feel good’ place isn’t it.

I know what you mean about Yoga, I used to go weekly before I had the children and then I started doing online lessons with my daughter but sadly we have got out of the routine again at the moment. Must try harder!

Ha ha it totally should, do you know Sabina we have rebooked for next year at the same time and got such a bargain. Ah its a shame you got out of the routine I feel its something that if i miss a few weeks I can feel the tension but one lesson melts it all away x
