Homemade Poison Toffee Apple Recipe

Autumn is filled with wonderful family moments, all those crunching leaves on the ground. Toasting marshmallows over an open fire and long autumn walks in the countryside on the cold frosty ground. And the perfect time to prepare some tasty, treats with this spooky poison toffee apple recipe.

It takes me a while to accept summer is over. But in reality autumn is my favourite season. With the promise of Halloween and dark cosy nights by the fire with my little family, I feel it’s the most exciting season.

This Homemade Poison Toffee Apple Recipe Is A Wonderful Halloween Treat.

Halloween is a big event for our family; and always has been since I was little. My brother was born at 2 minutes to 12 on Halloween! If that is not the best excuse ever for a Halloween party then nothing is? And with Jack being born at the end of October he too has had his fair share of spooky parties.

Toffee Apples are one of our biggest family traditions that I honestly can’t imagine Halloween without. My Mum always made sure we had shiny red toffee apples to munch on during Halloween. And poison toffee apples are a tradition I have carried on with my family.

It Wouldn’t Be Halloween Without This Poison Toffee Apple Recipe

In my endeavour to make all of our food homemade and in collaboration with the lovely people from Pink Lady® and PinKids® their smaller snack size but perfectly formed relative. I have researched and made my own toffee apples with a twist.

Being a huge fan of all things Disney and with Snow White being one of my favourites, I decided to go for spooky poison apples. How amazing would these look at a Halloween party, or a spooky bowl of poison apples for trick or treaters?

And what a lovely tradition to share with your family on Halloween or at Halloween parties?

  1. Aaah what a great idea!! We’ve got our annual Halloween party coming up and I normally love making things like this but this year (in my wisdom) I decided to invite all the children in the twins’ class. That’s not too bad — it’s a small class — only 20 in all. Until I found out most of them have got at least 3 or 4 siblings each!!!!! Aaaargh!!!!!

I’d need a whole ORCHARD of apples! LOL!! x

  3. Oh wow, these look perfect! I’ll have to give them a try. My eldest was born on Halloween but hates all things spooky so we make sure to do things to celebrate that are in no way Halloween related… might have to make an exception for these though! xx

  4. How lovely to carry on the family tradition of celebrating Halloween! We don’t really do much but I’ve been wondering recently whether we should make more of an effort and have a Halloween party. I laughed when I read about your boys only eating one variety of apple – my girls will only eat a certain variety of red grapes!
