We only arrived home from gorgeous Greece on Monday. We left hot sunny days lounging by the pool and jumped straight into the Christie every day life, which is nothing short of total pandemonium but always exciting.
But you know what? I am sure if we had a calm sedate life we would all be bored senseless. It just isn’t us as a family. I know this because whenever we get on an even calm keel. We plan loads. I suppose that is just how we roll.
Here are a few of my Insta pics from our lovely trip. Ikos Olivia really is the most polished wonderful resort. Greece was incredible, the perfect week for all of us for so many different reasons. We came home refreshed and ready for the tough couple of terms ahead. I wont lie I will be glad when all the tests and exams are over.
Once we here home, my feet had only touched Northern soil for 24 hours when I head off to London for my next new and exciting adventure and to meet up the lovely Mark Warner PR team and my fellow Mark Warner Mums.
The sun was shining in London and I got to hang out with my lovely pal Julia. We chatted and walked for ages just enjoying the London atmosphere.
Before being treated to the most wonderful afternoon tea. In fact I would go as far to say it was the stuff of my childhood dreams, and so very magical. I am so excited about our Mark Warner Holiday, it looks as though we are traveling out to Kos to Lakitira I just know the boys are going to be in their element and am feeling so excited about learning to windsurf or sail myself
Thank you so much to the lovely people at Quiz for sending me this gorgeous top, I just love it. I have just got a few lovely bits from there. Quiz is somewhere I have never shopped before but I love some of the light floaty summer tops and sparkly sandals.
My Journey home was a little eventful; I was wandering London in my own little Sarah bubble.
I had a little jaunt around Covent Garden and decided to walk to Kings Cross and enjoy the sunshine. However 15 minutes before my train was due to leave I realised I should have been at Euston. I felt sick, I had been so chilled I hadn’t even checked my ticket and just assumed! I set off to run to Euston and for some reason stopped to tell a guard what I had done. Who told me to get on the Kings Cross train and no trains were going out of Euston.
Had I gone to the right station I would have been stranded in London. The train was packed and I had to stand all the way to Grantham but I was grateful to be on a train. Sometimes by blondness can be a real bonus ha ha. Or was it just fate. I am not sure? Chris had to drive to Leeds to rescue me at 10pm like a knight in shinning armor. I can tell you I was aching and tired and so glad to get home.
Fortunately I had been sent this gorgeous Olverum Bath Oil. And it was well and truly put to the test, soothing my aching muscles on Thursday. If you haven’t heard of it check it out it is like a massage in a bottle, and is packed full of essential oils it smells divine. I have hid it, for such future emergencies. This is just too good to share.
So there you go another eventful week, and next week promises so be just as exciting and fun with another trip to London. This time I will be checking my tickets ha ha. Have a lovely week whatever you are up to.
