My Weekly Round Up And Manic

I know I have used Manic before, but honestly? That was before I experience this week. The boys were off; I expected a pottering chill week. In reality I was a little chilled in the planning and may have accepted and arranged 5 or 10 too many wonderful things to do.

You know that moment when you write yourself a list and think arghhhhhh! What have I done, am I mad? Then you think well you only live once and I am here to have fun. And work or course, so bring the week on.

So that is exactly what I did, I put my head down and ploughed though. I have done a bit of baking, been on a trip to London, done hair, caught up with friends, a few home decor projects and packed for a weekend away and a holiday. But do you know what? Looking back this week has been blooming manic, but so much fun and full of creativity. I am one lucky gal.

My Weekly Round Up And Manic

As I sit here with a glass of wine I am nearly there. The sun has been shining all week, we have a lovely weekend ahead of us and my job list is ever so smaller that it was 5 days ago. Although Joe’s hair is hideous, every time I look at him I groan! That will have to be my first job in the morning. To cut that hair!

I have had lots and lots of lovely parcels this week, many that have been nice surprises

Like this Bailey’s Iced Coffee Cookie Shots. They are delicious although I couldn’t eat the entire cookie. But oooh Iced Coffee Bailey is amazing. Check out the London Coffee Festival to give it a try. Its 6th till the 9th April and looks amazing.

Home Made Delicious Marshmallow Cupcakes

I have been doing lots of baking and putting my new oven through its paces and the more I use it, the more I love it. This week I made Marshmallow Cup Cakes. They went down a storm the boys loved them.

And then on Thursday I head down to London and the Hello Fresh HQ with some of my favourite bloggers to try out the new Hello Fresh Go range. And cook in their ever so cool kitchen. I love the whole day and just nipping to London for the day is such an amazing treat.

Cooking Up A Storm With The Very Exciting Hello Fresh Go

Although getting there was a bit hairy as when I arrived at the station there was a huge sign saying this is a request only station! You had to flag the train down to stop. I kid you not! I was terrified. Anyhow lucky enough someone else arrived at the station who informed me the train always stopped in the mornings phew. But have you ever heard such a thing? No, me neither?

Country Living And Having That Time To Breathe

I have also fit in some lovely country walks and lots of fresh air, although sadly not many chances to nip to the gym. But I plan to squeeze in some early morning yoga and beach walks in Greece next week.

Oh and a big thank you to the lovely people of Co-Op  for these lovely eggs. I have grand plans for these this weekend. Check my Insta Stories out tomorrow to see what for. But I know 2 boys that will be very happy. And a couple of teens that although they act cool, wont say no a a chocolate egg.

My Weekly Round Up And Manic

Told you it was manic! But you only live once.

Have a fab week whatever you are up to, and will catch up next week from Greece

Definitely manic! But I love your attitude of just going for it anyway and cramming it all in, sounds like it’s been fun and productive. And no, I’ve never heard of trains doing that, I’d have panicked, too! Thanks for sharing with #WotW x

You sound like you had the right attitude to enjoy everything that life threw at you this week. What a fun week. Funny how a mellow week can change to one full of energy. Love the idea of the cookie shots. Hope you have a good week. #wotw

Sounds like a very busy week! Love the look of those Baileys Iced Coffee Cookie Shots and marshmallow cupcakes sound very yummy. We came across request stop train stations when we did our trip from Land’s End to John O’Groats – there were quite a few on the last leg of our journey. I hadn’t heard of them before then. The Hello Fresh event sounds like fun. We get the boxes every now and then and I love trying out new dinner ideas although the children are never quite so keen on them. #WotW

Ha! sounds a great week – and wow a request train stop, it sounds as if it should be a steam train (I don’t mean to be rude) but can you imagine that in London 😀 I think my whole life is based around this stuff everything premise, it’s great, but sometimes stopping is better. Have a fab weekend 🙂 #wotw
