My Weekly Round Up and Excitement

Whoohooo we only have another week left at school and then it is Easter. This term seems to have gone at lightening speed but has been a lot of fun.

I have been mega busy all week, been on a lovely little trip with Karen. And finally managed to book our flights to Greece, but for an eye watering amount. I am so mad at myself for not booking when I saw them cheap but it was midnight and I just assumed they would be the same price in the morning, when in fact they went up by 100s. But hey you live and learn! I just don’t think Chris will let me hear the last of this one.

It is wonderful to be finally enjoying a little sunshine, today is just gorgeous and as I am sat typing away you can really feel that spring is in the air, it is a wonderful feeling isn’t it? Lets just hope it stays around for a while.

As we are away soon I am busy preparing holiday clothes, planning what I need to get, and trying to organise myself so I can have a week of chill. I am thinking of doing daily FB live updates rather than daily postcards on my blog. I really want to be able to share just how amazing IKOS Olivia is.

The resorts are just stunning and sometimes that may not come across in a post card, I am thinking a quick FB live every day looking at different aspects of our holiday the room, food, pool, and try to share why we love it so much. I might just do one or two postcards from my blog as it is something I have always done and it wont feel right not doing it at all.

What The Boys Loved About Ikos Oceania

Check out the lovely Tracey’s post she shared this week, as she too is visiting very soon. This will be her second visit to Olivia so it must be amazing. We visited Oceania last year.

It’s such a shame that our trips don’t cross over Tracey and her family will go home on the plane we arrive on, it would have been fab to sip champagne together on that gorgeous beach. The reality is we will both be in Greece together for about 20 minutes, but one in arrivals and one in departures.

During the week I got to nip over to Haydock to check out the newly style Mercure Haydock. I have to say, it is super stylish. And I do love a well-designed hotel, for me it can make a trip.

I will be sharing the pics tomorrow in a little photo tour, but here is a sneaky peek.

I have also had a few exciting little projects on the go, with some lovely food and interiors posts that I am excited to share soon.

So yes an exciting week all round, a bit of family time, holiday prep, sunshine and catching up with friends. That is the perfect type of week.

Have a fab weekend and enjoy the sunshine.

So exciting, I can’t believe we only have a week left of school either. I hope you have the best time on holiday and I can’t wait to see the photos. I am definitely going to go there one day. Our holiday isn’t till May so we still have a few weeks to go!

Lovely to read about you jetting here and there. I can see how frustrating missing out on seeing someone is. #WotW

I can’t believe that the Easter holidays start next week – the term has just flown by! How frustrating to miss out on the cheaper prices – I would have probably assumed the same although my hubby would have known better! The holiday in Greece sounds like it will be fabulous – I hope it turns out to be every bit as wonderful as it sounds like it will be ๐Ÿ™‚ #WotW

Sarah thank you SO much for mentioning me. I too am gutted that we won’t be sipping champagne on the beach together. I can’t believe for the second year on the run we will be heading home on your plane. I am getting so excited now, and I really must start on the packing very soon. The Mercure hotel looks gorgeous, and will pop over and have a read of your review as the hotel is not too far away from us x
