My Weekly Round Up

Just a quick round up today, I had intended to sit and write it earlier. However Joe noticed the air ambulance crew was doing a training exercise on our road. And well, that’s an opportunity you can’t miss isn’t it? We have spent a fun hour watching the response team going through the emergency procedures. Joe was in his element, and it was fab to watch him so excited over something so simple, yet so important.

I am fast learning that they grow so quickly and opportunities like this don’t come every day, it is so important to embrace the little moments like this that bring so much joy. I can spend time being busy when they have grown up.

On Thursday I got the chance to nip to London for the day. I was so lucky the visit the Good Housekeeping Institute in Soho to get tips on cooking Norwegian Trout with Michelin-star chef Daniel Galmiche. Not only did I pick up some great tips, but the trout tasted delicious and I discovered I love Gin.

My Weekly Round UpAnd to get the opportunity to just wander round London is such a treat. I got the chance to stop in a gorgeous deli for lunch and people watch as I ate a delicious pumpkin salad. I can’t wait to share more about the event so watch this space.

Another thing I can’t wait to share is my little trip to Holiday At Home’s Greenback Barns. Wow one word breathtaking. And in the wonderful company of the gorgeous Karen and Julia it was a fab evening. Check out this pic of them rustling up a delicious dinner. My Weekly Round Up

My Weekly Round Up

This morning I sat with a coffee catching up on emails with a coffee enjoying this view, wow. I can’t wait to go back and take Chris and the boys they will LOVE it there. I might even take Toby as pets are welcome.

My Weekly Round UpThis week I am looking forward to more time at the gym, and my old and one of my best friends Donna coming to visit for a little blog chat, good food and wine. Have a fab week and catch up next week.
