An Evening Walk, My Sunday Photo

I love a sunrise, in fact I can’t resist them.

On Thursday after the journey from hell, you know where the sat nav is sending you in all directions to avoid traffic.  But there is no way out? And after said journey I was in much need of a little chill time. That is the wonderful thing about living out in the country.  Driving home after a rough journey is amazing. As soon as I drive onto our road I feel calm.

As I pulled onto the drive the sun was just starting to set but it was still light enough to walk. I grabbed my camera and Toby and we set of for a walk. It was one of those rare breathtaking sunsets, the type that you just want to watch. The colours were incredible with all sorts of shades of yellow, orange, pink, red and blue.

We walked for some time feeling calmer and more relaxed with every step. Toby checking out the new neighbours. I must say I am loving the herd of cows that have moved in to the field at the end of our row. Check out the black and white cow, she has the most gorgeous eyelashes.

I was lucky enough the capture the sun in stages as it disappeared behind the hills, it was most definitely one of those nights I was so glad I made the effort to get out with my camera.
