My Sunday Photo, Shoreditch Street Art

29th May 2016 by SarahJChristie 28 Comments

Just one photo today, this Shoreditch Street Art was taken one of the exits of the tube station at Old Street. What a photo, well not photo because I could have spent a lot longer getting the right shot and light, but I was pre- occupied looking for my lovely friend Caro.

But wow the work involved in this incredible piece of art is just incredible. I just could not stop staring at it, it totally blew my mind.

My Sunday Photo, Shoreditch Street Art

Isn’t  it amazing to see such talent on our streets? Happy Sunday friends have a wonderful day. x

When it’s done as well as this, street art adds so much to a city-scape. I used to travel in and out of Old Street station on a weekly basis in a former existence but will have to keep an eye open for this and others when I pass through again in a couple of weeks’ time.

I was involved in a case once that centred around graffiti or street art, I have been fascinated by it ever since. There is such an underground movement between the artist and I learned that they communicate with each other through secret insertions in the image – its an amazing sub culture. A great picture Sarah and I hope you are having a great weekend too xx

A brilliant piece of art Sarah. No wonder it caught your attention.
I used to live in Melbourne Australia and there is a whole area in the city lanes that have been taken over by street artists. It’s a tourist’s attraction now. Enjoy your Sunday

Hi Sarah, that piece of artwork is brilliant and would look fantastic as a tattoo on the right person. I bet the artist doesn’t even get recognition as an artist either.
