A Postcard From Ikos Oceania Day 3

13th April 2016 by SarahJChristie 10 Comments

A Postcard From Ikos Oceania Day 3;  We have not stopped today; Joe and Jack had planned a packed day between them, which has found us moving from activity to activity all day. When we first arrived we thought maybe there would not be too much for them to do, but wow they have had us running around all day. There are so many activities should you choose to get involved.

The funny thing is it is all very low-key. Unless you know what is happening where and when you really wouldn’t know there are games of football, volleyball and handball going on at regular intervals. Of course there are detailed itineraries available outlining all the activities, but the chilled luxurious vibe remains at all times.

I started out my day with a lovely long walk before waking the boys who had enjoyed a lie in after partying last night. And after a delicious breakfast headed for a family walk on the beach before heading out to sea on pedalos. It is fantastic that all non motorised water sports are part of the all-inclusive package, and we enjoyed a wonderful 20 minutes out at sea.

We then headed back to the pool whilst Joe and I chilled in the pool and Chris and Jack had a scuba diving taster lesson. The first lesson is free and following that you can book a course, which Jack is desperate to do next time we visit.

This has really highlighted that you can fill your day how you like at Ikos Resorts, you can be as busy or as chilled as you wish to be, and that is the beauty of staying here. The boys are thoroughly enjoying every minute, Joe has made lots of lovely friends and they are both having the time of their lives.

Tonight we are dining in the Greek a la carte restaurant, which we are all looking forward to. And tomorrow I plan to be up bright and early again and sneak to the spa before the boys rise for day, a little bit of tranquility and me time will be wonderful. Check out what we got up to on day 4 here.

Absolutely love following your adventures as I can close my eyes and pretend I am back there. It is so true that you can be as relaxed or as busy as you want to be. I think we chose something in the middle, which was just perfect for us xx

Ikos looks so wonderful. Great to hear it satisfies the kids too. Love that Jack can dive! It’s the one thing I’ve outlawed for Maddie. Maybe I’ll have to have a rethink!
