2 years and 2 days ago I pressed publish on this post. I felt physically sick, what if people laughed at me? Why would people want to read what I have to say? Would I be good enough? Some people did mock me; think it was all a bit of a joke. Think it was a fad that I would get bored with.
I was so naive then, I had no idea about metrics, scores, Moz, DA, Social following, ooh ignorance was bliss ha ha.
But hoorah 2 years later I am still here. I still get butterflies when I press publish, and still feel as excited by my little blog as I did back then. But something funny happened it changed my life, opened opportunities I would never dreamt of.
I have met some incredible friends and many truly inspirational people. I have also been able to use my blog to do some good and now write posts for the Diabetes UK blog, something I am so proud of. And have been lucky to work with some amazing brands that have brought some wonderful people and experiences into our lives.
What I also love is that it is a family effort, yes it is my blog, but we are all involved, the boys love being part of it. So thank you little blog, Happy Birthday. Who would have thought you would become such a huge part of my life, our lives, and that I would grow to love you so very much. Happy 2nd Birthday My Wonderful Little Blog.
