Today started out as a lazy day, we all chilled in our pj’s until lunchtime, the boys constantly checking the weather for the expected snow. To be honest I thought it was a false alarm. Yes, the sky was white, it was a gorgeous frosty day, but it just didn’t feel like it would snow.
Joe got fed up waiting, so we decided we would join the rebel forces, and fight evil in the galaxy on Disney Infinity. We were having a lovely time until that first flake hit the velux window above us. It then started to come fairly thick and fast, big beautiful fat snow flakes.
Now I remember being this age. The excitement of fresh falling snow is up there with Christmas morning or winning the lottery, when you are 10 snow is huge. So we wrapped up warm and all set off for the hills, brrr it was cold, but very beautiful. I took so many photos, I just love some of the photos I took of the boys but I am saving those for Thursday.
These are my favorites of the snow, at times the visibly was quite poor and you could not see the scenery around you, but what you could see was just beautiful. Honestly every day I count my lucky stars that we live in such a gorgeous area, and walks like this are seconds from our front door.
Wow, looks like you certainly got some snow. We are still waiting here. the girls eagerly me less so.
