On Monday night I set off to London to attend the very exciting NBNEvent that was being held in the gorgeous Soho Hotel on Tuesday. I decided I would be better to get there the night before to avoid any morning delays. And thank goodness I did as all the trains were slowed down due to the weather.
I encountered so many kind wonderful people over the space of those two days., from the wonderful London taxi driver who took me minutes down the road because I was lost. To the wonderful team at Park Grand London Hyde Park who changed my room because I was a wuss and was scared in the basement room they gave me. And all the inspirations bloggers and the friendliest PR team I have ever met. Seriously the Next ladies are just so sweet.
The event was incredible. Next had organised an inspirational round-up of speakers; Sammy from Style Crush, Danielle from Idle Lane, Jen from Love Chic Living and Rosie Fortescue from At Fashion Forte. Seriously I have never been to such an inspirational talk these incredible ladies offered such great advice and inspiration, they talked about their success but were very humble and open.
Next really know how to hold an event the location was gorgeous, and as soon as I entered the event room I felt comfortable such a lovely bunch of bloggers, all incredibly friendly the atmosphere was just great. The breakfast, lunch, cocktails and cookies were just delicious.
And to amuse us during breaks, and in between chatting there was a vending machine full of goodies for us, it was like being at the best tea party ever, with the most wonderful guest list.
I feel so proud to have won the award for Family Blogger arghhhhh , it means so much and in now sitting proudly on my desk. Thank you so much to all of the wonderful team, and congratulations to the lovely Kate and to all the other winners. I left at the end of the day with a huge smile on my face, a beautiful shiny award and most importantly lots of new friends who I am now happily following on Twitter and Instagram. I loved mixing with fashion bloggers, they are such an inspirational bunch of ladies and men, and the NBNEvent was such a wonderful day.
