Feeling Festive and Cinnamon Butter

It has finally hit me I am feeling festive. I suppose it was always going to be a delayed reaction this year. So much has happened in the last two months that honestly, the last this on my mind was Christmas. I don’t know if it was Joe singing Christmas songs this morning, thinking about packing for our pre-Christmas break, or our planned trip to the Christmas markets, but thankfully it is here I am finally feeling festive.

It has arrived later than ever before, but it’s here thank goodness, and now I can start to get my head around all that Christmas planning and shopping I need to do.
But let me start by sharing my first festive tip of the season. Cinnamon Butter, and oh my, it is amazing and so simple to make, and perfect to have ready in the freezer for festive snacks.

To make Cinnamon Butter you will need;

8 0z of Clover

1 tsp. of Cinnamon

2 tsp. of Caster Sugar

Mix the ingredients together, place in a freezer bag, then roll into a sausage shape and freeze.

Once frozen the Cinnamon butter can be taken from the freezer as and when needed and sliced into 1/4″ slices.

Serve on pancakes, toast, and fruit tea-cakes. It is delicious and oh so festive.

I have created this post in conjunction with Clover. Clover contains nothing artificial, is made from natural ingredients and is a healthy option for families. Check out Clovers Facebook page to grab a pound off voucher and try it for yourself.

    Err yum! Given the choice I would put cinnamon in everything, this is such a simple but fantastic idea I will definitely be giving it a go, I’d end up just putting it on my toast, haha xx

    This sounds so easy to make Sarah, and I can imagine it tastes lovely on freshly toasted bread. So jealous that you have a pre Christmas break planned. Have fun at the Manchester markets, and make sure you have a Baileys hot chocolate. That will certainly get you feeling festive x
